Yay! Congrats to Jordin Sparks on winning this season's American Idol. She wasn't my favorite overall, but out of the two that were left in the end, I was pleased she got top marks. She has a beautiful voice! With the way that things end up nowadays though, half of the contestants will end up with a record, so the show has kind of lost it's appeal for me. Take a look at last years contestants. It's insane. Not that a lot of this years contestants don't deserve a record deal, because honestly, there were SO many good performers. But hopefully, at least Sanjaya doesn't get one. Ugh!

I will admit I was bugged by the outcome, I really dislike Jordan, and I agree the show has lost its appeal. That doesn't mean I won't watch the next season, but oh well.
