Happy Birthday Mackenzee!

My baby turned four this year. It's crazy how fast time goes by...
Because Mackenzee is obsessed with the color pink, it seemed only fitting for her to have a Pinkalicious birthday party. What is Pinkalicious you ask?

This book is one of Mackenzee's very favorite and she can tell you the whole story word for word. :0)

The storyline is that this little girl eats too many pink cupcakes and ends up turning pink herself. At first the girl is thrilled that she is so pink, but after being diagnosed with 'Pinkititis' she is forced to eat lots of green things to make the pink go away.

Of course this meant we all needed to eat lots of pink cupcakes too. Thankfully, nobody turned pink at the party. :0)

Of course, her favorite part about her birthday this year was that she got a big girl bike. She is now a professional bike rider and, if given the opportunity, will ride off into the sunset. :0)
Happy Birthday Kenzee! We love you so much!

Dance

Mackenzee started back up in dance classes this September. She has been so excited to have her best friend, Maggie, in class with her this year. Of course, they now have to be separated in class because they talk too much about their dance outfits....but at least they're together right???

Mackenzee has a new teacher this year too. I think she was worried about it at first because she loved Miss Cassia so much last year. But, Miss Amanda is so much fun and Mackenzee has warmed right up to her.

We were also surprised to find out that Mackenzee's friend, Libby, is also in her class. It's like a party every week for her now. :0)

She tells me that she can't wait to get on the stage again with all the lights and dance for everyone....
Definitely a dancing queen!

Girls Weekend

My sister-in-law, Holly, was able to arrange for us to have a Girls weekend in September at a condo in Utah. So, a bunch of us girls packed up our crafty stuff and headed off for a weekend away.

We enjoyed some Farr ice cream on Saturday night BEFORE dinner. :0) It was SO good...
Obviously Tessa and Montay enjoyed theirs too. :0)

Holly brought Olivia with her too....her very firls Girls Weekend.

Here's Holly making some hair bows...

Lyndsey and Tessa hanging out....

Montay showed us all her mad sewing skills and made some aprons and jammies for her girls for Christmas. Can I just tell you how impressed I am? I had no idea she could get her sew on like that!

By the time we were done it looked like a tornado had gone throught the place. We had so much fun though....thanks so much Holly for hosting such a great weekend! We are going to have to do it again REAL soon!

Tiger Football

My nephew, Jordan, is a senior this year and so we wanted to make sure we made it to at least one of his football games. We went to their first home game {which they won!}.

The Jerome Tigers had a great football season this year and thankfully Jordan made it through the entire season without any injuries. {Last year he ended up in crutches}.
Great job Jordan!

Bass Lake 2009

We love Bass Lake and I'm pretty sure we practically lived down there this last summer. Here's just a few fun pictures from various trips down to the lake....
Mackenzee became more brave every time we went down there. By the end of the summer she was going out to the deepest part of the kid section {where she couldn't reach} so that she could "practice" her swimming.

Maggie and Mackenzee enjoying a canoe ride.

Me and Montay taking Riley out for his turn in the canoe. Look at that water!!! It's like a mirror!

Yeah....the two toddlers had fun together...for the most part. :0)

Landon and Genea out on the dock. Landon passed the mommy swim test this year and so he didn't have to wear a life jacket out to the dock. He loved it!

Papa, Alina, Greta, and Riley coming back from a canoe ride.

Papa always brought his fishing poles and would spend hours helping the kids catch and release fish. It was busy work...the fish at Bass Lake are ALWAYS biting. Seriously, all you have to do is drop the line into the water and the fish come swimming. Two seconds later you will have a fish on the line. The kids think it is so awesome.

Holly and the kids getting ready to swim out to the dock.

Baby Olivia even got in the water. SO cute!
We can't wait until next summer so we can go and play some more.

Still got it!

My sister-in-law, Holly, and her kids came to visit us this summer and we had so much fun. We took them down to Bass Lake for a little swimming and I got both Holly and Crystal to have a cannonball contest with me.
Here we are getting ready for the big jump...you can see how excited Crystal was. :0)

One, Two, Three....ready....GO!

Who says moms don't know how to have fun???

Winning the Mommy of the Year Award.....

What do you do when you hear your daughter crying outside and find her stuck LIKE THIS....
You make her stay in the hole and grab your camera to take some pictures. Such a nice mom I am right?
